Geoffrey Kent is a resident actor at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival where he has performed The King of France in All's Well that Ends Well, Octavius in Julius Caesar, Lorenzo in The Merchant of Venice, Laertes in Hamlet, Don John in Much Ado About Nothing and Antipholus of Syracuse/Antipholus of Ephesus in The Comedy of Errors (Denver Post Ovation Nomination: Best Actor in a Comedy). Recent roles include Leslie in Seascape with Modern Muse, Andrew in I Hate Hamlet with the Aurora Fox and Officer Lockstock in Urinetown: The Musical! (Henry Nominee, Westword: Best Supporting Actor in a Musical). This Fall, Geoffrey is directing MacBeth for Listen Productions at the Buntport Theatre (www.cowboymacbeth.org). In the spring he is appearing as Brendan in The Lieutenant of Inishmore for Curious Theatre Company and in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) for Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company.
