About On the Same Page 2015:
For 2015, On The Same Page has chosen two books. Our nonfiction selection, Being Mortal, by Atul Gawande, and our fiction title, Benediction, by Kent Haruf, are both built around the theme of “What matters in the end?” There's been a good deal of recent discussion around the idea of living well in light of our mortality. As we age, how can frank and good-natured conversations about end-of-life issues set the stage for a "good death?" Around the country, people of all ages are talking about life and death in a new way. Join the conversation:
Learn more about Being Mortal and Benediction; attend events and Coffee Cup Conversations; find more books, movies, and articles on these topics; start your own discussion group, or check out the buzz from critics.
